PPSh-41 Replica Drum Dummy Magazine

Regular price $33.45 $0.00

Product Description

This faithful WWII replica of a Russian PPSh-41 71 Rnd. Replica Drum Dummy Magazine is copied from an original PPSh-41 Magazine.  It was a custom project for a museum to display original PPSh-41 guns.

It is made out of a durable solid colored plastic resin and aged to look like the original. There are no moving parts and it can not be made to hold any ammo.  These look true to the real thing for any WWII display or impression and will fit into the gun. (may take some minor adjusting)

These are ideal for costume designers, reenactors, Cosplay or museum displays that need the authentic look, when the real thing is illegal, too expensive, or too valuable to use.  An affordable reenactment gear item.

 Some History

The Russian PPSh-41 was as a Soviet Submachine gun designed by Georgy Shpagin as a cheap, reliable, and simplified alternative to the PPD-41 . A common Russian nickname for the weapon is "burp gun" because of its high fire rate.

The PPSh is a magazine-fed selective-fire submachine gun using an open bolt, blowback action. Made largely of stamped steel, it can be loaded with either a box or drum magazine and fired the 7.62x25mm Tokarev pistol round.

The PPSh-41 saw extensive combat use during WWII and the Korean War. It was one of the major infantry weapons of the Soviet armed forces during World War II, with about six million PPSh-41s manufactured in this period, making it the most produced submachine gun of the war.
