Product Description

**ITEMS ARE PLASTIC AND NOT TO BE USED OR PLACED IN ACTUAL FIREARMS OR USED AS SNAP CAPS OR FOR DRY FIRING!

Marshall’s Arsenal .50 BMG replica dummy rounds are precision-molded from authentic .50 BMG Rounds and finished with a realistic brass-metallic coating for a true real-to-life museum-grade appearance.

Crafted from solid, impact-resistant resin, each round faithfully captures the size, profile, and surface details of the original cartridge. These replicas fit perfectly into machine-gun links, ammo cans, display mounts, or any .50 BMG application — ideal for static displays, film and stage props, reenactments, or cosplay.

Available Variants

🔸 M2 Ball – Standard Issue
The classic .50 BMG round used across WWII and later conflicts. Features a plain brass-colored bullet for authentic, general-purpose display.

🔸 Armor-Piercing (AP) – Black Tip
A faithful replica of the WWII-era AP round, easily identified by its black tip — representing the armor-piercing load used against light vehicles and aircraft.

🔸 M17 Tracer – Red Tip
Replicates the vivid red-tipped tracer round used for tracking and aiming correction in low-light conditions. A striking addition to any cinematic or dynamic display.

Designed solely for visual authenticity, these rounds are non-functional display items only — a safe, affordable alternative when live ammunition is restricted, unavailable, or unsuitable for display.

Historical Background

The .50 Browning Machine Gun cartridge (.50 BMG / 12.7×99mm NATO) was developed during the late 1910s for use in John Browning’s heavy machine gun design. Officially adopted by the U.S. military in 1921, it became one of the most powerful and enduring small-arms cartridges ever produced.

Originally designed for anti-aircraft and anti-vehicle roles, the .50 BMG saw extensive service across land, sea, and air platforms throughout World War II and beyond. The cartridge was typically fed through metallic link belts for use in heavy machine guns such as the Browning M2.

Several standard variants were produced to meet specific mission needs, including the M2 Ball (standard ball round), M2 Armor-Piercing (AP) with black tip, and the M17 Tracer with red tip. Over a century later, the .50 BMG remains in active military service worldwide — a testament to its power, versatility, and legendary
