Replica Dummy Ammo is solid plastic copied from real 50 BMG rounds and it has a brass metallic finish to give it an authentic appearance. The rounds will fit into any Clips, MG Links, Ammo Cans or other types of 50 BMG applications.

3 types are available - Standard M2 Ball, Armor Piercing AP (Black Tip) and M17 Tracer (Red Tip) They are made to look like the real thing but NOT intended to be used as actual practice rounds or in firearms. These are great for any reenactor, cosplay, or historical display where the real thing is illegal or prohibited to use.  An affordable reenactment gear item.

Some History

The .50 Browning Machine Gun (.50 BMG, 12.7×99mm NATO) is a cartridge developed for the Browning .50 caliber machine gun in the late 1910. It entered official service in 1921. The cartridge itself has been us in a variety of land, see and air machine guns and has a variety of variants; such as the regular M2 ball, M17 tracer, M2 armor-piercing (AP). The rounds were intended for machine guns that use a continuous belt using metallic links.
